T-ara reveals ‘Cry Cry’ choreography with practice dance video

After the release of a dramatic music video for “Cry Cry“, T-ara is hyping fans up for their comeback with a practice rehearsal video revealing the choreography for their upcoming performance!

Following the feel of the song and music video, it’s safe to say that the live performances of “Cry Cry” will be edgy and fierce, a total turnaround from the ladies’ previous concept with “Roly Poly“.

First official photo of ‘Full House 2′ revealed!

A photo still of actor No Min Woo and actress Hwang Jung Eum posing as their ‘Full House 2‘ characters is gaining interest.

On November 15th, an online community posted the topic, ‘Drama ‘Full House 2′ Three Main Characters‘, with the photo.

No Min Woo, Hwang Jung Eum, and Park Ki Young are sitting on the bench with various poses. While the two men pose in a laidback manner, Hwang Jung Eum’s bright red sweater and curly hairstyle is drawing much laughter from netizens, who are her to the horror movie character, Chucky, in ‘Child’s Play‘.

Netizens replied with, “Is this Full House 2? Isn’t this ‘Child’s Play’?“and, “Why is she wearing that kind of sweater…”

‘Full House 2′ will be broadcast in March.

T-ara’s Eunjung updates on her condition after falling off a horse

T-ara‘s Eunjung made headlines yesterday after falling off a horse while filming for drama ‘Queen Insoo‘. Today, the idol gave an update on her conditions, assuring fans of her safety.

Eunjung stated in an interview with Joongang Ilbo newspaper, “Yesterday I fell off a horse during filming, but I’ve received treatment at the hospital and thankfully, I’m fine now. It’ll improve after a bit of time passes.”

When asked about her character in the drama and horseback riding, Eunjung answered, “I heard that not everyone was so passive during the Joseon dynasty. Not much is known about Insoo’s childhood, and the horseback riding scene was inserted to show that she was a strong, independent woman who was ahead of her time.”

She also commented on the burden of acting in a historical drama stating, “Honestly, I have lots of interest in history. I like historical dramas a lot, and I had a experience with historical drama when I was younger. Wearing ethnic Korean clothing and acting was fun. I wanted to do it because I got to play the younger version of senior Chae Shi Ra.”

The first episode of ‘Queen Insoo’ will be on December 3rd at 9PM KST on JTBC.

YG Entertainment sales increase due to Big Bang

It was recently revealed that YG Entertainment‘s stock price will only be worth 80% of SM Entertainment‘s.

Shinyoung Securities reported on the 14th that once YG Entertainment is registered with KOSDAQ on the 23rd, their estimated stock price will be roughly $58 USD per share. Considering that YG has had less promotions overseas and restricted group member promotions, they inevitably came up 20% short in comparison to SM Entertainment.

However, it was also reported that YG was the second most successful entertainment agency, boasting a sales boost of 55.5% from 2008 to 2010, and a 173% increase in business profits. Their sudden jump in profit is mainly credited to their boy band, Big Bang. Reviewing the first half of 2011, Big Bang alone brought in 52% of YG Entertainment’s income; 60% if you include each member’s solo projects, and their albums are now selling over 4 times more compared to back in 2009. YG’s girl group 2NE1 currently brings in 40% of what Big Bang brings in for total earnings, but with their escalating fame, it is estimated that they will be able to bring that percentage up to 70% by this time next year.

Shinyoung Securities also reported that the agency managed to earn a high profitable income this year compared to their lack of artist promotions and credited their success to the bond between the YG Family artists. It’s beneficial but risky at the same time that manpower is the drive behind YG’s success, however, the chances of YG artists surviving competition were predicted to be high.

Big Bang wins “Best Worldwide Act” at MTV’s 2011 Europe Music Awards

The 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards aired today live from Belfast’s Odyssey Arena. Aside from mega-superstars Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, LMFAO, and Coldplay, five member band, Big Bang, attended as they were nominated in the Worldwide Act category.

Big Bang stunned audiences by winning the award just moments ago. The Worldwide Act category celebrates diversity and the breadth of all the music that MTV has to offer by nominating incredible artists from all corners of the world.

There were two rounds of voting. First, each region had an opportunity to vote among MTVs choices for the seven artists that best represent the region. In the Asia Pacific category, in addition to Big Bang, Exile (Japan), Jay Chou (Republic of China/Taiwan), Gotye (Australia), Sia (Australia), Jane Zhang (China), and Agnes Monica (Indonesia) were nominated.

After weeks of voting Big Bang won for the Asia Pacific region and advanced to the finals along with Abdelfattah Grini (Africa/India/Middle East), Lena (Europe), Restart (Latin America), and Britney Spears (North America).

Due an impressive amount of voting by VIPs and fans all over the world, Big Bang won the coveted award. They will have the honor of being the first ‘Worldwide Act’ award recipients.

JYJ‘s Jaejoong has been gaining attention for an appearance in an Italian magazine — but what’s really been getting fans talking is the comparison that’s been made between the Korean idol and English actor Robert Pattinson!

A photo of the magazine feature has been circulating on an online community as of late, featuring a photo of Jaejoong back in the Mirotic days, showcasing his solid abs.

While the usual word to describe a man as handsome in Italian is ‘bello’, underneath as the title was the word, ‘bellissimi’, emphasizing Jaejoong as a man of the best beauty.
